I’ve had some very influential people in my life they haven’t just been great coaches but rather great people.  I owe a lot to them for where I am today and for the values, trust and insight they provided me over my years of learning which will continue for the rest of my life.  Thank you to the following amazing individuals.

My parents – my Mom & Dad for instilling life values and principles that made me the person I am today.

My grandmother – for believing in me and for her Scottish wit and sarcasm, I miss the banter and miss you ; )

Sports Coaches: My Dad, Gord McLellan (football) Ken Dearborn (football) John Druce (football) Glenn Foster (football) Dave Burt (Jr. hockey)

Golf Coaches: Conrad Rehling, an amazing man he made you feel like you were his grandson and did so much for the game.  His methods were very simple but they made so much sense.  Charlie King, so positive in search to help people enjoy the game more.  I hope I get the chance in the near future to work with him again.   Brad Turner for his short game expertise, a wizard, I never won any Turner cash.

My Students: Thank you for allowing me to teach and instruct you.  You are my learning and proving ground. I hope you get out there and continue to prove it to yourselves and the golf course.

Just a quick note to thank you for authoring the “gauge” article in Score. First it provides a roadmap to begin work on improving the yardage where I spend the most shots, and second for doing it from the left side! Constantly having to transpose everything we read is a burden we lefties live with. You brought something special to all of us. Thanks

      You’re Welcome,

Happy to provide the info, I know it will work for you and true enough we don’t have to transpose. Just watch on tour how often this is used.

      Thanks,
      Jason

    Hey Jason,

Congrats on your latest award…..a worthy ackowledgement of all your hard work. I very much enjoyed our work this past spring and summer. I played some great golf this year and had several rounds and part rounds with my ball striking exactly where I wanted it and knew I could achieve. Unfortunately, I also had too many other days as well, in fact the other days out numbered the good days and on those days…..I just couldn’t seem to find the switch. Amazing how some days, it could be so good…..and then others days; YUK.

Even on the range, some days I’d have it from the word GO, and then other days I’d need 30 balls to get it figured out…… but, I almost always left the range feeling pretty good and often GREAT. I look forward to continuing the process towards bettering and understanding the mecahnics you have already given me and the search for better consistency.
